New Jersey Entrepreneurs Forum, formed 1984 by entrepreneurs, consultants, and investors, helps develop of technology companies and commercialize their products and services. We operate programs to train technology entrepreneurs, held on Second Thursdays.
While our natural focus is New Jersey, we warmly receive technology-based Entrepreneurs from throughout the eastern US, and overseas. NJEF actively supports NJ's technology incubator companies, bringing reality-check to valuable government subsidized programs, and funnels scores of Entrepreneurs to dozens of elite Venture Fairs each year. By 1995 NJEF had transitioned from a branch of the NJ Commission on Science & Technology could to the private non-profit corporation operating today. We focus on Entrepreneurs and provide FAST PITCH 5+5 Venture Plan Forums for real-world, hard-hitting feedback from seasoned Entrepreneurs, Angels, VCs, and experts from key integrated disciplines to back them. We remain true to our initial mission of “deconstructing and reconstructing an Entrepreneurial business plan” within a brief, intense training and coaching session before, during, and after our two-hour programs each month, successful only because of the active support of our Managers and Sponsors so that technology entrepreneurs are provided more than the basic skills required to start, manage, and finance a new company.
The NJEF Mission Statement is "to prepare technology entrepreneurs to grow successful companies by providing access to the skills necessary to start, manage and finance their endeavors." NJEF’s Board of Trustees work diligently to ensure our Garden Innovation State's Entrepreneurs receive the best in services, referrals to sources of capital, and training in startup company management. With its strong leadership, NJEF’s Managers and Sponsors provide entrepreneurs and their Teams with help and direction necessary during key stages of growth. Entrepreneurs acquire knowledge, resources, and connections enabling revenue and job growth.
