- New Jersey Business Incubation Network
The New Jersey Incubation Network (NJBIN)
is an advocacy group whose mission is to advance and
promote business incubation as a highly effective economic
development tool for the State of New Jersey. NJBIN
assists those communities, institutions, and individuals
seeking to open business incubators; to educate managers
and operators of business incubators in methods of successfully
growing small businesses; to educate those resident
companies in proper business operations; to advocate
for an environment favorable to small business incubators;
to assist the State of New Jersey and the United States
in economic development and diversification; and to
support and promote entrepreneurship / technology education.
NJBIN is comprised of the managers of all operating
NJ business incubators. Associate membership is available
to all interested people or organizations who are interested
in starting new incubators or servicing the NJ incubator
community.

NJBiz
NJBiz
is the Garden State's only state-wide newspaper devoted
entirely to business. The paper, which was started in
1988, is published weekly. NJBiz has won more than two
dozen national and regional awards for editorial excellence.
The paper also published a series of resource books
about New Jersey and the State's companies, including
a book on all public companies and one on the leading
private companies.

Jersey Economic Development Authority
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority
(EDA) is an independent entity of the State of New Jersey
created to expand and retain job opportunities and encourage
economic growth and diversity. To carry out its mandate
of stimulating jobs and investments, the EDA pursues
public/private partnerships that enable businesses and
not-for-profit organizations to secure affordable capital
for needed improvements and expansion. EDA's assistance
takes the form of bond financing, loans, financing guarantees,
incentive grants, and equity investments and is available
to a broad spectrum of business and industry and to
the not-for-profit service community. In addition, the
EDA offers specialized programs for high-technology
businesses.

NJEN
- New Jersey Entrepreneurial Network
The New Jersey Entrepreneurial Network (NJEN)
is a non-profit organization providing educational and
informational services to entrepreneurs, investors,
persons in related fields and the public in general.
Our meetings are attended by a select group of companies,
investors, investment bankers, and service providers.
A recent survey indicated that of the companies which
attended our meetings for the purpose of securing outside
investment, 11% found an investor through NJEN. Meetings
are held on the first Wednesday of each month from September
through June, at the Forrestal Hotel in Princeton, New
Jersey.

NJTC
- New Jersey Technology Council
The mission of the New Jersey Technology
Council is to provide recognition, networking, information
and services for the state's technology businesses.
The Council also publishes "New Jersey TechNews",
a bi-monthly newspaper whose sole focus is the business
of technology in New Jersey. NJTC is dedicated to directly
fostering positive relationships among technology-related
companies - a builder of connections, a facilitator
of technology exchange, a resource for professional
and technical information. Founded in 1996, the Council
has over 800 members.

Business Partnership
The Regional Business Partnership is a non-profit
business development organization whose mission is to
serve its member businesses by enhancing the Northeastern
New Jersey region's economy, business opportunities
and quality of life. In an effort to enhance the northeastern
New Jersey region's climate for business development,
RBP's programs and activities focus on small to mid-sized

Venture
Association New Jersey
Venture Association New Jersey is a monthly
luncheon forum created to stimulate interaction among
business founders and managers, equity investors and
leaders, executives seeking new positions, professionals
whose services are helpful to company managers and founders,
and representatives of major corporations. The main
speaker is either an angel investor, a partner in a
venture capital firm, or a successful entrepreneur.
Three entrepreneurs are allowed five minutes each to
explain their company's need for capital. During lunch,
attendees mingle, exchange information, and introduce
themselves and their businesses to the group.
